Diana Wallace Honored…..

In February, the Oxbow Center Board of Directors placed a photo and plaque in the lobby of Oxbow Center in memory of Diana Wallace.  Diana, a founding board member of Oxbow Center and long-time Executive Director of the Appalachian Agency for Senior Citizens, passed away September 13, 2010. She was instrumental in the formation of Oxbow Center and provided many hours of service to promoting its programs.

 The Board also presented a plaque to Diana’s family as part of the remembrance ceremony and shared their words of respect and admiration for her work and dedication to improving the lives of not only the senior population, but individuals of all ages.
